Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Books I’d Want to Have While Stranded on a Deserted Island.

I have actually never thought about this before, so this was a fun list to make.

Here are some books I’d want to have with me if I were ever stranded on a desert island, in no particular order…

  1. A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith
  2. Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery
  3. The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarty
  4. Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon
  5. Cormoran Strike series by Robert Galbraith
  6. Tracers series by Laura Griffin
  7. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling
  8. Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella
  9. Nikki Heat series by Richard Castle
  10. Natalie Lockhart series by Alice Blanchard

…maybe I’m cheating but I can’t pick one book out of a series! That would just be cruel 🙂

These are all books that I can/have read multiple times already and plan to read again in the future.

What are some books you’d want to have while stranded on a deserted island? Tell me in the comments or drop a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post so I can check it out!
