Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is Books That Make Me Hungry.

Here are a few books, most of which I have read but a few that have been hanging out on my TBR, that are food-related, in no particular order…

  1. Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly by Anthony Bourdain
  2. Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert
  3. With the Fire on High by Elizabeth Acevedo
  4. My Life in France by Julia Child
  5. Garlic and Sapphires by Ruth Reichl
  6. Salt: A World History by Mark Kurlansky
  7. The Hundred-Foot Journey by Richard C. Morais
  8. Magnolia Table: A Collection of Recipes for Gathering by Joanna Gaines
  9. The Pioneer Woman Cooks by Ree Drummond
  10. Whisky in a Teacup: What Growing Up in the South Taught Me About Life, Love, and Baking Biscuits by Reese Witherspoon

I really had to think about this one because I’m not what you would call a foodie. I like to read cookbooks occasionally, but I don’t generally seek out books about food or cooking. I think that I am more drawn to memoirs that feature food and cooking.

What are some books that make you hungry? Tell me in the comments or drop a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post so I can check it out!
