Books About Books and Libraries

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.

This week’s topic is a Freebie. I decided to share my to-read list of books about books and libraries because I have come across so many lately!

  1. The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan
  2. The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman
  3. Must Love Books by Sheila Robinson
  4. With Love From London by Sarah Jio
  5. The Bookseller of Florence: The Story of the Manuscripts That Illuminated the Renaissance by Ross King
  6. The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles
  7. The Librarian by Christy Sloat
  8. The Library at the Edge of the World by Felicity Hayes-McCoy
  9. The Bookseller’s Secret by Michelle Gable
  10. The Library of Lost and Found by Phaedra Patrick

The only ones here that I’ve read are The Bookshop on the Corner and The Ice Queen, both of which I enjoyed and would recommend. The rest I hope to read at some point! Have you read any of them?

What are your favorite books about books or libraries? Tell me in the comments!

  1. In the silent sound of pages turning
    A million angels sing

Not a usual run of the mill comment… but it’s what came to mind πŸ™‚
