Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is a Freebie. I decided to share my to-read list of books about books and libraries because I have come across so many lately!
- The Bookshop on the Corner by Jenny Colgan
- The Ice Queen by Alice Hoffman
- Must Love Books by Sheila Robinson
- With Love From London by Sarah Jio
- The Bookseller of Florence: The Story of the Manuscripts That Illuminated the Renaissance by Ross King
- The Paris Library by Janet Skeslien Charles
- The Librarian by Christy Sloat
- The Library at the Edge of the World by Felicity Hayes-McCoy
- The Bookseller’s Secret by Michelle Gable
- The Library of Lost and Found by Phaedra Patrick
The only ones here that I’ve read are The Bookshop on the Corner and The Ice Queen, both of which I enjoyed and would recommend. The rest I hope to read at some point! Have you read any of them?
Wow, there are a lot of recent books about libraries!

I adore books about books/bookstores/libraries. I read Recommended for You by Laure Silverman recently, where the characters work together to save their favorite bookstore. It was super cute! I’ve added all the books on your list to my TBR; I can’t wait to try them out. Thank you! Happy reading!

I guess writing about libraries and book stores is a good way to get readers to pick up a book!

I enjoyed ‘The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry.’ The main character is a grouch who works at a bookstore and adopts an orphaned toddler.

I recommend a underrated book, The City of Dreaming books by Walter Morse. It a fantasy that take place in a city made up of book shops.
