Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is Best Books I Read in 2021, and I decided to list my top ten reads of the year.
Here they are, in no particular order…
- Falling by T.J. Newman
- The Stranger Diaries (Harbinder Kaur #1) by Elly Grifiths
- Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon
- The Matzah Ball by Jean Meltzer
- Touch of Red (Tracers #12) by Laura Griffin
- Flight (The Texas Murder Files #2) by Laura Griffin
- One Last Breath (The Borderline #1) by Laura Griffin
- We are the Brennans by Tracey Lange
- All Systems Red (The Murderbot Diaries #1) by Martha Wells
- Trace of Evil (Natalie Lockhart #1) by Alice Blanchard
I read so many great books this year but these are the standouts!
I have Matzah Ball on my TBR, and hopefully, I can get to it in 2022.

There’s a couple of books (The Matzah Ball and Instructions for Dancing) in your top 10 that I’m hoping to read next year. π Still hoping to finish one more book by the end of 2021, but think Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo and A Deadly Education by Naomi Novik were my absolute favourites.
