Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is a Freebie. I am revisiting an old topic I did last year, Page to Screen Adaptations.
This time around, I decided to create a new list of books I read this year that I would love to see adapted as movies or TV series, in no particular order…
- Texas Murder Files series by Laura Griffin (TV series)
- The Stranger Diaries (Harbinder Kaur #2) by Elly Griffiths (TV series)
- Instructions for Dancing by Nicola Yoon (movie)
- Flying Witch series by Chihiro Ishizuka (TV series)
- All Systems Red (The Murderbot Diaries) by Martha Wells (TV series)
- An Unwanted Guest by Shari Lapena (movie)
- Falling by T.J. Newman (movie)
- The Night Swim by Megan Goldin (TV series)
- Clap When You Land by Elizabeth Acevedo (movie)
- XOXO by Axie Oh (movie)
I hope you get adaptations of all of these films!

Oooh I think Clap When You Land would make an excellent film. Good shout.

Yes! THE STRANGER DIARIES and ALL SYSTEMS RED would both make great tv shows. Those are the only books from your list that I’ve read, but I’m sure the others would be great, too!
Happy TTT!
