The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news both personal and blog-related, recap the past week, and share about what’s coming up for the next week.
Happy Sunday fellow bookworms!
What have you been up to this week? I’ve been enjoying watching some holiday movies, drinking way too much hot chocolate, and catching up on Virgin River season two, which is amazing so far (no spoilers please!).
It was a slow reading week for me, for reasons below, but I’m back on track with a good book so all is well.
Here’s a recap of posts you may have missed…

It was unfortunately a slow reading week for me. First of all, I started People Like Her by Ellery Lloyd which was my Book of the Month pick for December. Sadly, it quickly became a DNF for me when I realized I didn’t like the direction the story was going in. I always hate when that happens. Since I got over a hundred pages into the story, I’ll be posting a mini-review of it next week so stay tuned for that.
Things turned around though when I started reading The Last Anniversary by Liane Moriarity yesterday. I’ve loved all her books and it’s a relief to finally have a book to enjoy again!
Next up I’m hoping to read The Hunting Party by Lucy Foley which will be my last read of 2020, which sounds so crazy to think about!
We’ve gotten so many lovely holiday cards these past few weeks.
I might keep them up past the holiday since they are so nice to look at!
