Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is a Halloween Freebie.
I decided to list some seasonal reads that are sure to get you in the Halloween mood – they did for me, at least!
- Graveyard Shakes by Laura Terry
- The Witch Boy by Molly Ostertag
- Snapdragon by Kat Leh
- Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia
- Pumpkinsheads by Rainbow Rowell
- Monster, She Wrote: The Women Who Pioneered Horror and Speculative Fiction by Lisa Kroger
- The Penguin Book of Witches by Katherine Howe
- The Okay Witch by Emma Steinkellner
- Conjure Women by Afia Atakora
- The Year of the Witching by Alexis Henderson
Those last two I haven’t read yet but they sound so good!
I’ve heard so much about Mexican Gothic! I’ve got to try it out. Great post. 🙂

I keep seeing such wonderful witchy book recommendations. I might have to make that a theme of my TBR later this fall/winter (or summer…or next year…just at some point, really).

There are definitely a ton of witchy books out there. Every year I say I’m going to devote October to reading them and every year it doesn’t happen, haha. This was the first time I sorta succeeded in that.
