The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news both personal and blog-related, recap the past week, and share about what’s coming up for the next week.
Hello everyone, happy Sunday!
I can’t believe it’s the last weekend of September. Despite the summer dragging, this month has just flown by! Here’s a recap of some recent posts and reviews.

I’ve been reading Troubled Blood (Cormoran Strike #5) by Robert Galbraith for about two weeks now, and today might be the day I finish it! As I write this, I have exactly 151 pages left. This was a 944 page book, so to finally be reaching the ending feels monumental. I debated about dividing these last hundred or so pages over the next two days, but on second thought have decided to just plow through it. I can’t wait to find out what happens!!
Bookish Things
Last week on Let’s Talk Bookish, we discussed the pros and cons of book blogging. I think it’s safe to say the pros far outweighs the cons! Ultimately I think the blogger should decide for themselves what they want their blog to be and stick with it. Once you start giving in to pressure of comparing yourself to other bloggers, it stops being fun – and reading should, at the end of the day, be enjoyable.
This week we discussed reading seasonally. Although I haven’t always been a seasonal reader, I find the concept appealing. I think that ultimately marketing plays a big role in whether or not a book is a seasonal read, especially if the book in question doesn’t particularly relate to any one season or timeframe, but just happens to be coming out in the summer or winter.
That’s about it for me. I hope everyone had a great weekend!
You’ve inspired me to go back and continue the Cormoran Strike series. I left off at Career of Evil. Have a good week.

I didn’t realise Troubled Blood was such a monster!
I don’t have the energy to compare myself to anyone else, my blog makes me happy and I’m good with that.
Wishing you a great reading week
