Hello everyone!

Since we are halfway through 2020 I thought it would be fun to do a check-in on my Goodreads reading challenge.

This year my Goodreads goal was to read 100 books.

As of today, I am currently on book 52, which puts me right on schedule!

Here are a few stats, if you’re interested…

  • Memoirs: 2
  • Series started: 4
  • Series finished: 1
  • Graphic novels: 5
  • YA/Teen books: 11
  • Books re-read: 2
  • DNF books: 1
  • Favorite so far: The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarity
  • Least favorite so far: I won’t say, only that it’s the one I had to DNF 😉

There are quite a few books I “plan” to read later this year, but we all know anything can happen between now and then. I will likely get caught up in other books along the way. But I do hope to read some more graphic novels by the end of the year (suggestions always welcome!) and finish a couple of the series I’ve started.

How are you coming along with your reading goals this year? What’s your favorite book so far?

I hope everyone has a great long weekend!

  1. I’m always so impressed by people who read 100 books per year, I’m too easily distracted – probably won’t even managed 52! That said I’ve read some really great books this year, Six of Crows duology by Leigh Bardugo, Kingdom of Copper by SA Chakraborty, The Lollipop Shoes by Joanne Harris and A Winter’s Promise by Christelle Dablos are my favourites so far. 1. A lot of the graphic novels and YA books are pretty short, they definitely add up though! I’ll have to check out some of these titles, I’ve heard good things about Six of Crows! 🙂
