Hello bookworms!

We are three months in to 2020 and I’ve already managed to complete a handful of the reading prompts from the PopSugar Reading Challenge!

I thought it would be fun to update as I go along rather than have one giant post at the end of the year.

Here are the prompts I have completed so far…

A book with at least a four-star rating on Goodreads

Orange: The Complete Collection Volume 1 by Ichigo Takano (4.43 rating on Goodreads)

A book by or about a journalist

If you Were Here by Alafair Burke (main character McKenna Jordan is a journalist)

A book set in Japan, host of the 2020 Olympics

Diary of a Tokyo Teen: A Japanese-American Girl Draws Her Way Across the Land of Trendy Fashion, High-Tech Toilets and Maid Cafes by Christine Mari Inzer

A book by an author who has written more than 20 books

Now I’ll Tell You Everything by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor (there are 20+ books in the Alice series alone! I’m currently reading this final book, with a review to come soon)

A book with a three-word title

Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan (review coming soon)

A book with the same title as a movie or TV show but is unrelated to it

Snapped by Laura Griffin (has nothing to do with the TV show of the same name)

A book you meant to read in 2019

The Hypnotist’s Love Story by Liane Moriarty

A book with a main character in their 20s

Twisted by Laura Griffin (main character detective Allison Doyle is twenty-seven)

A book by a WOC (Woman of Color)

Binti by Nnedi Okorafor (review coming soon)

If I happen to overlap with prompts as I’m reading, I’m still only going to count one title for that prompt. I’m not really reading to meet the prompts but they’re definitely in the back of my mind as I choose books to read 🙂

Are you completing the 2020 Ultimate PopSugar Reading Challenge, too? How many prompts have you done so far? Tell me in the comments!

    1. I’m not even sure where I heard about it, but I thought it would be fun to follow along. I’m certainly not going to attempt to do the whole challenge but we’ll see how far I get 🙂 Hope you are doing well and have a great weekend!
