The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news both personal and blog-related, recap the past week, and share about what’s coming up for the next week.
Hello everyone! I hope you all had a good week, or as good as possible considering current events. Here’s a recap of my week on the blog and otherwise…
Last Week
Personal: It was my birthday! By the time my birthday rolled around at the end of the week, we were already doing self-quarantine so that made for one of the more interesting birthdays I’ve had yet 😉 On a sappy note, I’m so happy to be another year older. Getting older is a privilege and I’ve found that the older I get the more content and grateful I feel for everything in my life. Also, I got some new books (see below) and a delicious chocolate cake (also see below) so that had me feeling grateful, too. Other happenings this week were that I began working from home, which has been interesting to say the least.
Blog: Posts this week included a Spring 2020 TBR for Top Ten Tuesday, a book review of American Born Chinese, a birthday edition of Recent Additions to My Bookshelf, and a special Instagram giveaway announcement – go enter if you haven’t already!
Next Week
Personal: Book-wise, it seems like a lot of us are struggling to focus on reading and writing reviews/blog posts. I completely understand the feeling but I’ve found that keeping up with posting and maintaining what little sense of normalcy I can is helping me personally. Work-wise, all I know about next week is that I’m going to have to develop some sort of daily routine for working from home. It’s been pretty low-key so far but I can’t stay cooped up inside all day everyday, so figuring out how to make outdoor time a priority in my day is going to be key.
Blog: I have a few book reviews planned for next week and will be posting some to Goodreads as well. It took me forever and a day to get through Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan, only because my mind was so distracted, but I’ll be posting a review of that soon, too!
Extras

Happy birthday! That’s some cake! I hope you find a routine that works for you at home. We had spring break this week so we were just lazy. This week it’s back to online classes. I like being home though.
Have a healthy week with some good reads!
