Hello, everyone!

I’m expecting November to be a busy month, but the attempt at recreational reading will be made nonetheless.

Here’s what’s on my desk that I’m planning to read this month…

Dear Girls: Intimate Tales, Untold Secrets, and Advice for Living Your Best Life by Ali Wong
Death at Whitewater Church (Inishowen Mystiers #1) by Andrea Carter

I’m about halfway finished with Unforgivable by Laura Griffin now, so look out for that review soon!

I’m also pleased to share that I’ll be participating in National Novel Writing Month this year! I wanted to mention it here, because a little accountability never hurt anyone, right? Each Friday I’ll be sharing a little update about my NaNoWriMo progress, whether that’s word counts, updates or just general feelings about how it’s going.

Here’s where I stand now, on my current project…

  • Book outline – Completed
  • Chapter outlines – Completed

Okay, that may not look like much, but I write very detailed outlines and having that completed prior to November 1st was a feat in and of itself! Yes, I had to start working on that in September in order to meet this deadline, and no I do not consider that to be cheating 😉

My project word count is modest compared to that actual NaNoWriMo goal which is typically 50,000 words. I am aiming for 25,000 words. Ultimately, I just want to use this time to jumpstart my project and, of course, have fun with it!

What are you planning to read this month? Are you participating in NaNoWriMo? Tell me in the comments!
