Hello friends, and Happy Halloween! What is everyone up to on this lovely day? Other than driving downtown to get our marriage license (yep, we are getting married this year, but more on that later!) we are expecting to have a pretty low-key Halloween. We typically don’t get trick-or-treaters, and I am off work today so I am planning a relaxing evening watching movies.

On to the monthly wrap-up…

I’m including some photos from Instagram of my trip earlier this month, if you’d like to see…

While visiting my family in Oklahoma, we toured one very snazzy library in Tulsa…

Gorgeous art installation over the stairwell
Private seating areas were scattered about
“Truth is Stranger than Fiction” display of true crime books

If I lived here, I would be using this study room Stunning!

And we visited the Pioneer Woman Mercantile store in Pawhuska (for the second time!)…

I took a lot more photos on our first trip to the Merc back in 2017. If you’d like to have a look back at that post, you can find it here.

It was a busy month and I am expecting November to be even busier, but I will do my best to post at least one book review each week, in addition to my Top Ten Tuesday posts.

What was your favorite book from this month? Anything fun going on that you’d like to share? Tell me in the comments! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
