Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
This week’s topic is Books on My Fall 2019 TBR.
Here’s what I’m planning to read over the next few weeks, in no particular order…
- The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Other Stories by Robert Louis Stevenson. A classic I have been wanting to read for a while now.
- The Murders in the Rue Morgue: The Dupin Tales by Edgar Allan Poe. Same as above.
- Frankenstein or The Modern Prometheus by Mary Wollenstoncraft Shelley. Although I’ve read this before, I’m due for a reread and I couldn’t resist the enticing cover on this version.
- Six Women of Salem by Marilynne K. Roach. I read most of this last year and now that I own the book I plan to read it in its entirety.
- Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowelll and Faith Erin Hicks. This just looks like such a fun, cute autumn read.
- Unforgivable by Laura Griffin. The Tracers books keep getting better and so I shall continue reading them.
- The Elizas by Sara Shepard. The synopsis of this book is right up my alley, plus I love Sara Shepard.
- The Dreamers by Karen Thompson Walker. I’m starting this one first and I really hope it does not disappoint.
- Alias Grace by Margaret Atwood. I started this book a couple years ago and got interrupted by Life Things so this time around I’m ready to finish it.
- Rich People Problems by Kevin Kwan. I’m ready to finally finish this amazing trilogy!
As you can tell, I’m in the mood for classics and thrillers and anything fall-related.
I typically don’t go for seasonal reads but I guess this year, I do 🙂
What’s on your Fall TBR list? Tell me in the comments or link me your Top Ten Tuesday post so I can check it out!
I love Edgar Allan Poe. ❤ I also need to read Pumpkinheads this Fall!

Frankenstein and Alias Grace were both incredible stories. I hope you love them as much as I did.
And now I have to read Pumpkinheads. Wow, that one sounds good.
