June was a pretty solid reading month for me even though I only read half of what was on my planned June TBR – oops!
Book Reviews
I managed to read I Owe You One by Sophie Kinsella, and I’ve Got My You Under My Skin by Mary Higgins Clark.
I skipped Dark Shores by Danielle Jensen for no reason other than I just wasn’t feeling it. It’s still on my TBR, so I’m hoping to circle back to it someday.
I read about half of Pride, Prejudice and Other Flavors by Sonali Dev before giving up on it. Hate it when that happens, and this month it happened twice. Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston was also added to my Did Not Finish shelf on Goodreads.
The other books I read this month were…
Turning Point by Danielle Steel
It’s Not Like I Planned it This Way (Alice books #16-18) by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor
Top Ten Tuesday Posts
The Top Ten Tuesday posts for this month were definitely memorable…
Books From My Favorite Genre
Unpopular Bookish Opinions
Anticipated Releases for the Second Half of 2019
Books on My Summer 2019 TBR
It was so fun to read about other people’s unpopular bookish opinions! That was definitely my favorite Top Ten Tuesday post so far this year. I was also able to add a bunch of new titles to my to-read shelf on Goodreads thanks to everyone’s lists of anticipated new releases and summer reads.
Finally…
A special thank you to all the new followers who joined in this month. Truly, I cannot thank you enough for getting me to 500 followers. I love the community of book bloggers here on WordPress and I so enjoy reading everyone else’s posts and reviews and interacting with you all here. THANK YOU!
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and a fantastic start to July.
Well done x500
