It’s safe to say I have read more books so far this year than ever before. I didn’t know this would be possible, considering the intense work and school schedule I have been under lately, and yet here we are!
To be fair, I count everything, and I mean everything, that I read. From the under-fifty-page graphic novels, to the children’s books I have had to read for my courses, to the audiobooks I have listened to. Some readers don’t think that children’s books should count, and to that I have to disagree. Reading is reading.
As of today, I am nine books shy of meeting my reading goal of one hundred books.
Therefore, I am going to increase my reading goal to 150 books to make things a little more interesting 🙂 I would feel bad continuing reading for another six months and have all those books just count as “extra.”

Well done, and children’s books definitely count! I’m way behind in my reading, I always seem to have a slump during the summer so hoping I can catch up in autumn and winter.
