What are you up to this weekend?
I am still working my way through a few of the books I posted about in March, and hope to have a few of those reviews posted soon.
This week I started reading Invisible: How Young Women with Serious Health Issues Navigate Work, Relationships, and the Pressure to Seem Just Fine by Mihele Lent Hirsch. I don’t have any sort of illness, but this book and topic caught my eye because I have been reading a lot about women’s health issues and how they have traditionally, more or less, been ignored by doctors. Would you be interested in reading a review once I’ve finished the book? Let me know in the comments, and if you know of any other similar books.
On another note, here are a few articles I have been browsing as of late…
Famous writers talk about their favorite poems.
The Royal Wedding F.A.Q. (for anyone else also excited about May 19!)
Hardly a mystery (at least to anyone who has ever worked at a library) but this made me laugh: a librarian discovered people had been marking certain pages of certain books and her imagination went wild before she realized what was really going on.
And, as I sit browsing the internet on this unseasonably warm Saturday in April, I couldn’t help but check out my horoscope – it was a surprisingly good one. How do they do that? Check yours, here.
What About You?
Any fun plans? Book recommendations? Tell me in the comments, and have a fantastic weekend!
