Four Fun Things for the Weekend

Happy September! We are inching closer and closer to fall! Cool weather, cozy scarves and PSL’s galore are on the horizon. Here are four fun things to get you through today, this weekend, this month, oh you get the idea 🙂

Clinique Bonus Time

The new Clinique bonus gifts are out with bags designed by Jonathan Adler. The minimum purchase is only $28 which is such a great deal! I’m picking mine up at Dillard’s this weekend – I am already so in love with the bag design because PURPLE.

Nineteen Years Later

Today is officially Nineteen Years Later day in Harry Potter land. In other words, the epilogue of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows occurred today. I wish I could have been there to celebrate at Kings Cross! For those of us who weren’t there, the good news it that there is new content up on Pottermore. You can explore Hogwarts in what has to be one of the coolest ways possible!

September TBR

What are you hoping to cross off your reading list this month? Some of the books I’m planning to read (or finish soon) include The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead, Earth Awakens by Orson Scott Card and Aaron Johnston, Admission by Jean Hanff Korelitz, and The Rosie Project: A Novel by Graeme Simsion. Any recommendations?

Some interesting articles I read this week include everything from writer’s favorite sandwiches, a Hurricane Harvey book club for kids, (plus more ways to help, here) and of course, your September horoscopes 🙂

P.S. I’m now on Twitter @hkatt19 so please be sure to follow me there 🙂

Happy Labor Day weekend!
