The Spaces in Between

To me it is really important to live in what I call the spaces in between. Bus stations, trains, taxis or waiting rooms in airports are the best places because you are open to destiny

The spaces in between…” how enticing is that thought? We all know that feeling we get when traveling; we become acutely aware of where we are now, where we will be in a few hours time, and how much land or sea we will have crossed in that time.

I think of this even when riding in the car, as home gets further and further away behind me. The idea that in these moments you are open to destiny has so much truth to it.

It is the sensation that anything can happen. It is a way to root yourself to the moment and recognize its significance in forming your future self, shaping you as you move through life.

What are other in between spaces you find yourself in?

The last day of the month and the first day of a new month is a figurative in between space I find myself in every thirty days or so.  It is August 1, and anything can happen from here…let’s make the most of it.
