Four New Podcasts

Lifestyle image

I was browsing for new podcasts the other day and found a few I’m eager to try out. If you aren’t a regular podcast listener, now this: they will change your life! Not a day goes by that I don’t check in with my favorite podcasts to listen to new episodes. They are perfect for listening to while out on a walk, at the gym, long car trips, or when you just want to pop in your headphones while doing some cleaning around the house 🙂

Sincerely, X: Okay so this is the deeper of the four podcast recommendations. Sincerely, X from TED and Audible is and “audio series featuring talks from speakers whose ideas deserve to be heard, but whose identities must remain hidden”. The first episode description: This doctor says she committed a fatal mistake with a patient, leading her to a disturbing diagnosis: the medical field pushes for professional burnout. She unveils a powerful perspective on how doctors must deepen their self-awareness”. The first episode just came out this week, so this will be a series to watch for!

Unhappy Hour with Matt Bellassai: Do you remember Matt Bellassai from those Buzzfeed videos eons ago? He always cracked me up with his “wine about it” segment In this podcast he talks about everything he loves to hate, (because “complaining is good for you”) with segments called “Worst Things First” and talks to his guests (what else?) “over donuts and mimosas”.

The Ben & Ashley I. Almost Famous Podcast: I love anything to do with the Bachelor Nation, and when Instagram-stalking the cast isn’t enough, catching up with their podcasts will be my next move. Although Ben and Ashley I. seem like an odd-pairing, they make a weirdly decent pair of co-hosts. Now you can listen to them discuss recent episodes of The Bachelorette, in addition to the episode breakdowns and discussion on the Here to Make Friends.

Grammar Girl: This one isn’t new, but it’s new to me. Grammar Girl episodes are super short and so informative, with episodes on the differences between “reticent” and “reluctant”, animal idioms, abbreviations and ambiguous sentences; all information you think you didn’t need but will be so glad you know now! Take notes 🙂

BONUS: Lavar Burton Reads! You’re welcome.

What are you listening to these days? Recommendations, please 🙂
