Over Mother’s Day weekend we visited the Mercantile in Pawhuska, Oklahoma aka The Pioneer Woman’s famous general store.
Pawhuska was pretty sleepy when we drove in, but the Mercantile was buzzing. First we browsed through the shop. There were so many beautiful dishes, cookware and kitchen accessories, as well as toys for kids, books and clothes and jewelry.
Here’s what we got downstairs in the Merc Shop:
- Journal:ย This gorgeous floral notebook was calling to me. Wouldn’t it be such a cute bullet journal?
- Cowgirl Lip Balm: Cactus flavor (!)
- State Dish Cloths: We found the last Arizona set of state dish towels!
- Mother’s Day Tote: Limited edition ๐
Then, we ventured upstairs to the bakery where I had the most delicious orange muffin and fruit tart ever. The bakery had a huge seating area which made for a good spot to stop and rest for a spell before going back downstairs for more.
Overall we had a wonderful time at the Merc. It was every bit as fun and pretty as what is seen on the show, and more. It was definitely worth the short drive from the city out to Pawhuska. If you are ever in the area, I would highly recommend visiting ๐
This place looks awesome!
