I’ve played around with coloring books off and on the last few months, partly because I can’t tell if they’re actually working and partly because well, it’s fun. It’s so calming and it is a great way to promote mindfulness. Coloring allows you to transition into a reflective mood and can be a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Lately I have been using this one:
I really have to recommend the Happier coloring book for a few reasons: the card stock is really thick and so easy to color on. Whether you are using colored pencils or ink pens the surface is ideal for coloring. Second, the illustrations are beautiful, and lastly the quotes on each poster are inspiring and thought-provoking.
“What you do everyday matters more than what you do once in a while.”
“The days are long, but the years are short.”
“The things that go wrong often make the best memories.”
Out of all the coloring books I’ve had this is probably one of the best so far 🙂
