I was hesitant about reading The Cuckoo’s Calling. But I’m glad I did.
I can’t reveal too much without giving away the ending but I will say that the story was very well-paced. There are just enough characters, in other words just enough suspects, for me to have still been guessing whodunit up until the final pages of the book. I was thoroughly impressed with this book. The writing is witty, the characters are intriguing, and although the star (Cormoran) is still a bit of a mystery to me, it’s safe to say that I’ll be reading the rest of the books in his series to find out what happens with him.
Have you read any of the Cormoran Strike novels? No spoilers please, but how do you like them?
